TIM HICKS NOSTALGIC TRIBUTE ‘I MISS TOM PETTY’ & CHART-CLIMBER ‘ONE MORE’

"“I Miss Tom Petty” is a song I wrote with Clayton Bellamy and Dan Davidson. We were batting around song titles and ideas one day and I was holding a mug that said “I Miss Tom Petty” that Amanda had bought me for Father’s Day. I remember thinking, “Is that a title?”. I pitched it in the moment, and boom, we were off to the races! It’s a nostalgia song through and through with mentions of “cards in spokes” and “twelve CDs for a penny.” It was an easy write since all three of us are huge Petty fans. Jeff Coplan produced this one, and I’m so happy with how it came out! In a world that moves so incredibly fast, the line “time moves on and I guess I ain’t ready” really resonates with me most days, I’m sure you can relate! Hope you dig." - Tim Hicks
