HUNTER BROTHERS KICK OFF CROSS-CANADA HEADLINING TOUR WITH RELEASE OF SENTIMENTAL NEW SINGLE "THIS SIDE OF THE DIRT"

HUNTER BROTHERS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL GUESTS KALSEY KULYK AND JAKE VAADELAND FOR SELECT TOUR DATES + LAUNCH TOUR CHARITY INITIATIVE

#1 SINGLE "LOST" EARNS HUNTER BROTHERS THEIR FIRST PLATINUM CERTIFIED SINGLE

October 27, 2023 (Toronto, ON) - Kicking off the Burning Down The Barn Tour last night with an explosive show out of Edmonton, multi-award winning country favourites Hunter Brothers debuted their brand new single "This Side Of The Dirt," which is available to stream across platforms today. Listen HERE.

"This Side Of The Dirt speaks to the essence of priority," the band shares on the new single. "We only have so many minutes to live on this earth, and therefore, we wanted to encourage everyone to think about how they are going to spend those minutes. Each of our priorities are unique, and whatever they may be, we believe it’s so important to make use of that time while the sand is still in the glass. Whether it be spending time with loved ones, taking trips you’ve always wanted to, or being a more intentional friend, this song is a soundtrack that speaks to the sentiment attached to all of those deeply personally details of one’s life. We hope you enjoy it through a reflective and hopeful light."

With a new single in hand, and continuing to sell out venues across the country, Hunter Brothers are adding even more to their dynamic show with the addition of special guests in select markets. Homegrown Saskatchewan and CCMA nominated artist Kalsey Kulyk will be joining the group for their sold out shows in Red Deer and Medicine Hat, while exciting newcomer Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys will be showcasing his unique flare to audiences throughout the remaining dates.

Known for bringing engaging elements to their live shows, Hunter Brothers will be giving back in a meaningful way throughout their tour, in support of Food Banks Canada - an organization that means a tremendous amount to them as active farmers. Lead singer and creative visionary Ty Hunter will be wearing 19 completely customized jackets, a different jacket at each show, that local Shaunavon, SK artist Andrew Robertson has hand-painted with Hunter Brothers themed artwork. After each jacket is worn, they will be available online to be bid on, with ALL proceeds going to Food Banks Canada. Fan's can bid early on the jacket of their choice at the online auction HERE.

Hunter Brothers have a lot to celebrate between their new single, first headlining national tour with multiple sold out dates - and now - the Platinum certification of the group’s very first #1 hit “Lost” from their JUNO nominated album State of Mind.

Life on a family farm wasn’t always easy, but the brothers attribute much of their success to their rural upbringing in a home dedicated to faith, music and sport. With over 73 million catalogue streams, three Top 10 and GOLD certified singles to date, Hunter Brothers have amassed a large volume of industry credibility in a record amount of time, including multiple CCMA Award nominations, JUNO Award nominations and SCMA Award wins.

ABOUT KALSEY KULYK:
Hudson Bay, SK native, Kalsey Kulyk got hooked on singing and playing the guitar at a young age. When Kulyk was 19 she met Fleetwood Mac producer Richard Dashut, who mentored her for 3 years. Then she made the move to Music City in 2015 and two years later won both the Canadian Country Music Association’s Discovery Artist program, and Anthem Entertainment’s (formerly ole) “On the Spot” competition. Since then Kalsey has been nominated for Roots Album of the Year at the CCMA’s in 2020, been a CMT Nashville discovery artist and her current single,  “Love Me Like an Outlaw” is quickly climbing the Canadian billboard country radio charts.

ABOUT JAKE VAADELAND:
Jake Vaadeland is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and songwriter hailing from Cut Knife, Saskatchewan. At only 20 years old, the award winning artist's musical style is described as a unique blend of Bluegrass, Country, and 50's Rockabilly, influenced by the rich traditions of these genres. Along with his band 'The Sturgeon River Boys', Jake has been actively touring and captivating audiences across Canada, having performed over 100 shows in the past year alone.
